Hotel Du Congres - Brussels

Location was convenient for exploring Brussels.

Quiet hotel, like the area where it is located. Very welcoming staff, good quality/price ratio of breakfast, good area, relatively well located (not in the center, but not far away either, 15min walk from Grand Place and 10 min from Gare Central station), has a metro stop 2 min away.

Functional and clean but small room. bathroom is too simple... too small (no connection where to plug in the hair dryer or razor). It was difficult to regulate the water temperature in the shower and soundproofing of the room can be improved a lot, it's not the hotel's fault, surrounding area is full of cafes and restaurants for working days, on non-working days it's more complicated to find something decent open, they close the kitchen very early!

the staff is very pleasant and amazingly kind. overall the room is compact, unique and includes air conditioner, wifi, and a chair.

The garden is a cute spot to relax, and our room's original decor was charming- a lovely ambiance. I appreciated the helpful staff when checking in early!

Nice clean and comfortable modern rooms with a touch of 'history' in the ceilings as this hotel is situated in a classic building. We booked 6 rooms as we were going to work in Brussels with our team. We needed extra space and the hotel was very kind to offer us their conference room to set up our 'studio'.

At first I would like to say, that it's not only hotel's fault, we should be more carefull ourselves next time BUT: we asked manager to book a taxi for us to an airport (we had to be there at 5 a.m.). and he booked it, and taxi arrived and took us to an airport... but it wasn't the airport, wich we were need, it was wrong one!!! And we had to take another one taxi to get to right airport and we paid 176 (!!!) euro for this trip and fortunately arrived there in time! And the second driver said to us that there are 7(!!!!) airports around Brussels and hotel manager had to clarify wich one we were need at first before booking a taxi for us. Thats it.

good location but room for improvement

The accommodation was close to everything we wanted to see, all within a 10-minute walk. The breakfast was very delicious with a variety of options that catered to different tastes. The staff were kind and helpful.

The room could have been a bit more spacious for a family with children.

I think it is a nice hotel - staff are fine and the rooms are clean and functional - a decent size too. Breakfast was fine, check-in and check-out are reasonaly timed. I would stay there again and it has a bit of character - unlike the chain hotels.

I think these days all hotels need to provide free room based internrt access. Therefore I would have to say that the lack of this let the hotel down.

The room was cozy, but the shower was tiny and cramped.

Very noisy hotel. I heard everything from the corridor. Radiator in my room didn't work, so in the morning it was very cold. Very rough personal at the reception. Not good really.

They let me drop off my bag before checking in, awesome! My room was a bit tiny, but super comfy with soft sheets. The breakfast options were tasty too! Just wish there was a bit more space to move around.

I got a room in the building opposite of the hotel. The corridor is not nice there. The drape curtain was not working so there was too much light in the morning
